Brother Knights,
It is with great sadness that I share the passing of Brother Robert John Gannon, who died peacefully at his home in Brick, NJ, on October 28, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was 83.
Bob served our council as Grand Knight from 2005 to 2007 and later as our District Deputy. We are thankful for his years of leadership and dedication to Council #2204.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, Bob lived on Long Island before moving to Brick 17 years ago, where he was a devoted parishioner of St. Dominic's Roman Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Mary (née Kelly) Gannon; his four children, Kelly, Elizabeth, Sean, and James, and their spouses; nine grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
